Common Questions

Straight Answers

Honest answers, no fine print.

What is final expense insurance?
Final expense (also called burial insurance) is a smaller whole life policy designed to cover funeral costs, medical bills, and other end-of-life expenses so your family isn't left with the bill. Benefits are typically paid quickly and can be used for anything.
Do I need a medical exam to qualify?
Usually not. Many veterans qualify for simplified or guaranteed acceptance coverage with no medical exam — just a few health questions, and sometimes none at all. Pre-existing conditions often won't disqualify you.
How does final expense work alongside my VA benefits?
The VA offers limited burial allowances that rarely cover today's full funeral costs. A final expense policy fills that gap. We give honest, transparent guidance on how they work together so there are no surprises for your family.
How much does coverage cost?
Final expense premiums are built with fixed incomes in mind. Your rate depends on your age, health, and the coverage amount you choose — and once a policy is approved, that rate is locked in for life. We'll walk you through real numbers for your situation, and your quote is always free.
Is there any obligation when I request a quote?
None at all. Requesting a quote is completely free and there is never any pressure to buy. We're here to help you make the right decision for your family.
